Here Is How Ola Electric Is Preparing For The Future

Ola Electric introduced a revolution to the Indian market when they launched the S1 electric scooter. Currently, there are two scooters on sale. Launched in August this year, the Ola S1 and S1 Pro have garnered over 1,00,000 bookings when it first opened bookings. The S1 is priced at Rs. 99,999 and the S1 Pro is priced at Rs. 1,29,999.

They will also be reopening the bookings for the S1 on December 16th. People who have reserved their scooters by paying Rs. 500 earlier can pay an additional amount and can book the scooters. They can also take a test drive of the scooters before they decide to pay the additional amount.

Ola is developing more mass-market scooters, motorcycles and even four-wheelers. For the cheaper scooter, Ola is said to not include the touchscreen functionality and features such as cruise control, and more. Ola is also relying high on their service to drive sales of their electric vehicles. Their scooter will alert users whenever servicing is required. Their app will be loaded with technicians who will solve problems for their electric scooter riders.

The Ola S1 and the Ola S1 Pro electric scooters test rides have begun in various parts of the country including Delhi, Mumbai, Bengaluru, among others. Ola has already raised $200 Million in September 2021 alone and they sold Rs. 1,200 Crore worth of scooters. The next edition of electric scooter and motorbike will be released in 2022.
